Congratulations on your recent purchase of McAfee® Security Quickstart™. Regardless of where you are in the world, you can now access the power of McAfee Security Quickstart services starting today. Read on to learn how to access your account and start taking advantage of your purchased McAfee Quickstart Services.

Getting Started with Your McAfee Quickstart Services Account
After purchasing your McAfee Security Quickstart order, an automated "Welcome Email" will be sent to you that will include your username and password:
- Login to www.securityobjects.com using your new username and password from the "Welcome Email"
- If you still haven't received a "Welcome Email" click here
- Once logged in, please update your profile and change your password by going to My Account>Edit
- Be sure that your account is set to the proper timezone by going to My Account>Edit>Timezone
- Once your profile information has been completed successfully, you are ready to begin using the McAfee Security Quickstart Services. Click on the corresponding services listed below to learn more about getting started:
Scheduling Your Experts On-Demand Session
No matter how many Experts On-Demand sessions you purchased, www.securityobjects.com will serve as the portal for all of your scheduling needs:
- Once logged into your McAfee Quickstart account located at www.securityobjects.com, click on the Experts On-Demand tab at the top of the screen.
- From here, click on "Schedule New" located on the orange menu bar.
- You will be prompted to fill out a questionnaire surrounding your environment. Please make sure you enter all of the information as accurately as possible as this will ensure the proper delivery of your session by our expert consultants. Once you have completed the information, click "Continue".
- Here you will be able to schedule your session:
- Use the calendar to select a date and an alternative date that you wish to have your session delivered. Please note that you must request a session at least 5 business days prior to delivery to ensure that we have the proper resources available.
- When selecting a time slot, please once again ensure that your account is set to the appropriate timezone for delivery of your session. This is critical, and if not completed can delay the delivery of your session.
- Next, click on the product that you would like covered during your session. This is very important as we have different product experts that we must make sure are available on the date of your request.
- Lastly, be sure to fill out your goals and objectives for the session so that our experts can best utilize the 4 hours to suit your needs.
- Once completed, click "Submit". A member of our delivery team will process your request and will reach out to you when your session has been confirmed. See our FAQs page for more information.
- Fill out the Pre-Engagment Questionnaire as accurately as possible. These questions will be used to customize your session to fit your criteria. If you answered "No" to any of the questions, make sure you are able to answer "Yes" on the day of your session so that no time is lost while both parties wait for the downloads and updates to be complete. Once you have answered the questions, click "Continue".
- Congratulations! The scheduling process has been completed. A member of the Quickstart team will be reaching out to you to confirm the date of your session. If you have any additional questions, please visit our FAQs page or contact a member of the support team.
Running a HealthCheck
An annual HealthCheck license gives you the ability to run unlimited HealthChecks on your McAfee policy and configuration files for a year from the date of purchase:
- Once logged into your McAfee Quickstart account, click on the HealthCheck tab at the top of the screen.
- From here, click on "Run HealthCheck" located on the blue menu bar.
- From there, you can simply select the product you want to check, the baseline you want to compare and upload the appropriate configuration file. Click on "Check Policy" to start the HealthCheck.
- Once completed, you will be able to view the results of your HealthCheck.
- Use the drop-down menus to change between policy categories while examining your HealthCheck results.
- After you have run a HealthCheck you may logout of your account. Your results will be saved under the "HealthCheck History" link located on the blue menu bar for future reference.

Accessing On-Demand Training Videos
An annual Training license gives you the ability to login to your McAfee Quickstart account to view the On-Demand Training videos for an entire year:
- Once logged into your McAfee Quickstart account, click on the Security Training tab at the top of the screen.
- From here, you can search videos, browse courses and request content via the green menu bar located at the top of the screen.
- To view the different video categories, you can click on any of the products listed on the right panel of the screen.

Preparing For a Session
Prior to your session be sure that you have prepared the following items to ensure that no time is lost during your 4 hours:
- Have access to your email
- Ensure your environment supports the gotoassist interface as this is the method of delivery
- Can remote into your server
- Have your appliance mounted
- Download all relevant software from mcafee.com
What to Do After the Delivery of Your Session
Before the close of your session, the delivery consultant will prompt you with a brief survey to fill out regarding the quality of the materials covered and how valuable it was to you. The feedback that you provide on this survey will be treated as the official close of your session and will be used to further improve and analyze our delivery methods.
